Yesterday I had lunch with Josh, we went over the game plan for hauling to this weekends race
This morning I get a call from Jenny, "Can Josh borrow your truck?"
"uhm, yea, why?"
"well his is totaled"
"WTF!?"
So he was headed to work this morning and a lady ran a red light turned into him head-on. He is a little beat up, sore and has a broken wrist she said.
Funny part is... He was wanting my truck so he could go finish working on stuff at the shop.
So given the circumstances i don't know if we will be trucking down this weekend.

Yea, you ain't joking, SOB!
I was looking forward to the last races there, hanging out and having a great weekend to polish off the summer. It's kind of a package deal. It sucks going racing alone when you have to foot the fuel and seat time all alone.

Well tell 'em Him & Jenny are in thoughts & prayers here. If he needs someone to babysit the airplane... I can do that too. ;D It sucks going racing alone when you have to foot the fuel and seat time all alone. No doubt, that's why I haven't made it very far away from GB yet! |

What a bummer! Hope he's ok and all... Bad timing, right before the last race weekend. Sometimes thats how it goes I guess. Still not counting you guys out though!! Never dreamed you guys would make Clay Center this year either. There's a reason we call you guys "Sandbag and Son Racing"...  Might have a guest rider on my bike in the V400 class this weekend.  |

Well that really sucks Kyle. I'm going to dig real deep and see what transpires. As of right now there are no plans of racing this weekend which sucks because I need to figure out how to get ahold of CD martin and see if he is still going to sponsor me a frame for my twin. If so I nned to get it at least part way home..

Well.... Thanks for the good thoughts guys. I really appreciate it. I'm healing up just fine. Just no racing this weekend. Don't waste your time feeling sorry for me, there's lots of folks worse off... On a lighter note....planning to fly the Champ out to Fast Freddy Cuba's big bash next weekend. Who wants an old school barnstormer taildragger ride out of the pasture? You know you do...   Josh |

I'll be there.
Matt George who puts on the CFTCS is headed down there and I linked up with him to throw a bike in with his stuff to at least make Saturdays festivities.
