My wife and I was going to attend the Clay County Fair race on 7.21. Can anyone suggest a motel for that Saturday night? Hopefully I'm not too late booking one. Also is there anywhere I can get info on where the track/fair is located and the times the fair is open. Thanks in advance.

There are two motels in Clay Center they are: Ceder Court 785-632-2148 Sunrise Motel 785-632-5612 The fairground is located on the far east side of town, I think it is on East 12th St., as far east as you can go on it. It will be easy to find, their fair is going on and there will be a lot of activity around there.

Small but fast you don't shut off long unless you want to be last. Really fun track. I can't wait!! I think it said 1/5th but if I remember I ran the same gearing as 81 and Jeeps just 2nd gear.

We live in Topeka so I think we'll just drive up, then back after the race. Wish they'd bring some flattrack to Topeka at Heartland Park. I suppose it costs too much for track rental and insurance? Looking forward to Sat night.
