The Concordia race on Sat. night was, for the most part, an untried type of program for the GPFTS and, in my option, a success. This show could not have happened without the support of some key people who I would like to thank. Cathy and Brendon Thiessen along with Greg Girard and the rest of the fine people that put in a lot of hard work at the Concordia race track; they were the first ones to go out on a limb to try a combined program like this. Scott Criner, he is the head official of the Jayhusker Racing Assn., he could not have been better to work with and is a true race fan of any type. Tim Lindfors of Salina Harley-Davidson Honda who sponsored this event and is always a strong supporter of flat track racing. Most of all, thank you riders for the good turn out and the great racing, without a doubt, we made some new fans for flat track racing. Randy

I would like to express a thank you to the GPFTS crew for the honor they bestowed on me by using one of my old photo's on the awards plaques. It wasn't until on the way home that I realized that picture is the only one I have of me on that motorcycle. I built it for a shorttracker and had a lot of personal success on it in 1973. I took it too the Sadelia mile changed gearing and put Danny Cartwright, of Tulsa, on it and he won the novice main event agianst all the yamaha twins. Then Phil McDonald rode it with great success winning many expert main events at Sante Fe shorttrack and Granite city shorttrack. Thank You for the trip down memory lane ,it made the trip home quite enjoyable. Johnny Isaacs 10xng

Johnny, How many wins did you have at Ascot, on that bike or any other bike? Don't be shy, everyone should know what a star we have in our midst. Randy
