The season opener for the Great Plains Flat Track Series sponsored by Park City Convention and Tourism Committee will kick off this weekend, the 20th and 21st. Friday night the action will be at 81 Speedway on North Broadway in Park City (north of Wichita) on the fast three-eighth mile track. On Saturday night the excitement will move a few miles north to the Jeeps Motorcycle Club on Broadway and 101st St., also in Park City, on the always fun-filled short track.
This season’s GPFTS schedule has ten points paying races on the schedule, 100% of the Park City sponsorship money will go to the end of the season points fund paying cash prizes for the pro classes and gift certificates for the amateur classes. In order to be eligible for these awards a rider must participate in at least 70% of the events.
Remember free grandstand tickets, for Friday nights 81 Speedway race, at area motorcycle dealers and shops.
