Congratulations to Eagle Feature Event winners Tim Lindfors, Frank Hardman and Colt Chebultz ! Thank you to all the riders that attended! Special thanks to Todd of Lincoln Cycle and ATV of Lincoln, Nebraska, for providing the vehicle Tom Laird used to get around on a very hot day. Thanks to Jim, the pit steward who did a very professional job lining up the riders and getting us on the track. Jim is a customer at Lincoln Cycle and ATV who volunteered his time in exchange for a pit pass. Thanks to Lori who helped with sign in. Big Big thanks to Cherrypicker who did countless things to keep the event running smoothly.
The Sunday crowd was smaller than a usual Saturday night, but the people in the stands had good entertainment. The track was a little rough, but it was tacky and there was some very good racing! The beautiful race bikes all lined up on concrete pads in the pits was an impressive sight! Motorcycles haven’t raced at Eagle Raceway since the 1970s; yesterday’s race was a good start at renewing interest in the sport. Eagle Raceway owner, Roger Hayden and his staff enjoyed having us there.
Thanks again to all involved who helped make his event fun and successful!
Note: Tom's Laird's Thank You is in the weather update thread. I got a call from him this morning that he could only post a reply. This is a great forum once you figure out how to navigate it! Check it out!

375 class #21 Dennis Hoffman 600 class #82 Josh Trail #2 Mike Boston #41 Dennis Hoffman #51g Rob Goodwin #21x Jack Anderson
That's what I know.
Tammy, Thanks for the compliments.
Kyle, all is well, just a clutch lever and a couple scuffs. The 375 class ended up being 3 Buls and 3 XL350's. By the way, the XLs out averaged the Buls as far as finishing position!!!!!! Happy Happy Joy Joy!!

Congrats on the good turnout and I'm glad the fans and owner liked it! I sure missed being there. Sounds like a nice place to race! Thanks for the unofficial results posted... I popped in on the site a couple times earlier today to check.
I got the green light for Stockton... now the race to get the repairs done is on!
Josh, Kind of ironic... while you guys were racing I was looking at a 370 Bultaco in a barn for a future "possible project" racer. Wierd...

Up until now I was proud we had pulled off an organized race with everybody’s help – or at least the appearance of one. Now the beast rears its ugly head; this is a muddled mess! LOL
I forgot to ask Tom for a copy of the results last night and he left them with Eagle Raceway. I apologize.
These are the names I can add to Tammy’s unofficial results:
450 Class
# 98 Jordan (Former VDTRA #1 Fred Schritt’s Great-Grandson) # 98X DJ (Former VDTRA #1 Fred Schritt’s Great-Grandson) # 31L ?? # 6 ?? (Matthew Waldman or Matt or Nick Toon?)
600 Class
#33 ?? (From Colorado?)
750 Class
# 87r Leo Ostantowski # 44 Bill Burr (I think) #33 ??!!
Rider’s #31L, #6, and #33, sorry, it’s hard to remember everybody’s name with a number. Post who you are if you read this before I get the official results. Everybody contributed to the show and I’m sure Tom wants to make sure you get credit!

I'm Pretty sure #33 is Bland, sorry can't remember a first name. Hopefully Tom will get on here and fill in those last couple of last names for us with Jordan and DJ and first name for Bland?

This is fun! I'll know everyone's full name and number by heart. #98 Jordan Muir. I just spoke with him a little bit ago but we got so busy talking about the upcoming Oberlin and Stockton races I didn't ask what his or DJ's last names were. I have some old results and was able to look Jordan up, but the Eagle race was DJ's first. We're getting there! #20m

#33 is the always fast Eric Bland. Glad too see you had a good turn out. I just want to know was Colt trying to pass as Bill? Scott Raineman13g There is something to be said for a young man that races a modern 450 and then jumps on a 2-stroke Bultaco that was conceived before he was and rides it like that! All the riders that raced in the 450 class have it in them to race at the top level of this sport should they choose it and if they get the support they need. Guys, take your girlfriend to a movie, then use your winnings to keep racing! Scott, Thanks for letting us know #33 first name is Eric. We already new he was "FAST"! ;D #20m

Well I asked over on the dirtdrivers message board about how people liked the races there, a few people mentioned they would like to see bikes there a couple times during the summer,, hmm, maybe an opportunity to get some more races in next year?

My mother was in the stands and she thinks most of the people were there to watch the bikes. I was listening to the radio all week for Eagle to advertise us, but as far as I know they never did. Lots of plugs for the Saturday night car races but none for us. Most of the people new about us from word of mouth or seeing our fliers.
Tom told me last night that Eagle was impressed with how “organized” our part of the show was. We stood out in contrast to the other part of the show. I know I keep saying this, but thanks to everyone for doing what it took to make this happen. It’s good for all motorcyclists when we leave a good impression. Maybe if we race there again they will decide we’re worth a little more in the promotion department. Those stands are full on a Saturday night.
P.S. Nick Toon, I saw you at the races, but I was running around so much, I never saw you suited up to ride. When I saw your number I kept thinking that’s got to be Nick, I just wasn’t sure, sorry. Congratulations on your results-you did well!
