It's my pictures, I'm using the link through photobucket and they work on every other forum I've used them on. Don't know what's up.

Ain't seein' no pictures here either. Good to hear ya makin' progress man, ain't makin' much myself here. Shadetree wrechin' is the way to go! I built most of my poor little death tractor in my front room down here.
Anyways, chop off everything you possibly can. Then chop a little more.
Whatcha got for wheels? Like, what size are they?

Just picked up a front, spoked wheel (guy even said it was an old xs400 wheel) it's running a 110/90-19 tire. Rear is the stock (I think) wheel running an old metric sized 5.10-16 tire which converts to either a 130/90-16, a 140/80-16, a 140/90-16, or a 150/80-16. Here's the link to my photobucket, the first 14 pics are this project. s220.photobucket.com/albums/dd313/BigrichardPix/ok, profanity correct is messing me up here. it's actually BigD-i-c-kPix but without the hyphens in the link.

I had a really cool post written up that I've put on other forums, but since I can't get my photobucket to drop pictures on here right you all get to guess which pictures go with which sentences. ;D Found out that the swingarm bearings were no good. At least one of them was really bad. Bought a new axle but still need spacers. Found a bad-a$$ old tach. As well as some snazzy handlebars that turned out to be too big and too short. I'm not sure, but I might be going backward here.

Where are you out of guy? I'm just a shade tree wrench, but I might be able to lend a hand.

Biggest problem I have is I do not have front axle spacers. Everything else I'm pretty much set. Priced handlebars at mid america powersports for ~$24 or so. Everything else is just little fiddly finishing up stuff.

Got my new swingarm bearings in today and installed. I was fabbing up my throttle linkage and my buddy came over. . . "why don't we start it up" "well I was making the throttle linkage" "you know you wanna hear it run" "godbuggit ok" so we put some vice grips on the butterfly shaft and fired her up. Runs like a mother-humper. The float on the right side is sticking and overflowing so she's hitting about every other time on the right side. I'll pull the carb and fix that once everything else is done. It also sputters down and dies when we cracked the throttle. Do you think the second problem is related to the first? Payday is Wednesday, hopefully I can afford enough parts to finish it.

Same here Mike. Had a great time talking with you and watching your kids run hot laps.
Not much to report as far as progress on the bike. . .Today we just wheeled it around and pulled the carbs to inspect the float bowl. Did a bench check that the floats are functioning correctly. Put new grips on my buddy's motocross bike and started fabbing up a hot shoe for the new boots I bought at a pawn shop for about half price, darn things look brand new.

Just a quick update, pictures up tomorrow. Hot shoe is finished except for finish grinding and putting a strap on. Finished up wiring, put looms on it, just a little more little prettying up. Welded up and painted up the rear frame loop. Found a decent seat and tank to put on it. gotta get the front tire mounted and a little more welding to get the seat, gas tank and rear shock mounted. Unfortunately I found out last month I'm getting a free Air Force sponsored vacation to Afghanistan in October so I really doubt I'll get to ride her until April or May.
