Guys, I found some old drawings I made for the Staracer mini quick change hubs I have (maybe the same as on that hot rod Honda you just purchased). The spanner nut threads are 1.75-12 and the sprocket drive holes are on a 60mm (2.362") bolt circle. Checking the JT Sprockets web site shows sprockets for 1974-1977 YZ80's are for 420 chain with a 44mm ID (1.732") and the bolt holes are on a 60mm (2.632") bolt circle. If your rear hub is the same as mine, the YZ80 sprocket ID may have to be enlarged slightly (probably not) and the drive holes will need to be enlarged to fit over the drive pins (1/4-28 SHCS heads).
Let me know if I can help in any way.
Dan

Hey Dan... Not sure how I missed this post, but I did. Thanks for the info, I'll check the one thats on the bike.
I just got the new exhaust valve, retainer, and keepers yesterday. Last night I got all the top end parts cleaned up (in the dining room by the wood stove ;D) so the top end should go back together later tonight. I hope I can use the stock retainer, as the broken one was aftermarket (titanium?).
I'll be checking and double checking valve - piston clearance before this thing ever sees gas and a spark!!
