Patience, winter will be here soon. I figured up my points by paying attention to how things ended up , but am a little unsure on where I finished overall. I am pretty sure I took a 3rd in the 400 vintage am, and it comes down to 1 point to see if I got a 3rd or 4th in the vintage Open am. Now i just wait for the official results...

Pretty sure ya did too man... Dad gummit! If you placed 3rd on Saturday then you might take it. I know its going to be within 3 or 4 points anyways. Pretty close to the end. None of this stuff that Bill pulls winning by 100 points. Sounds like next year the class is going to be real competitive with Kyle talking about an XL350 powered bike and Ray looking for some power upgrades. I like close races win or lose. Make for better spectating. For example the Sunday TT, I was chasing Mark Robinson around for the entire race and got a wheel on him every now and then. Or the Saturday vintage open AM when me and CD Martin were going back and , until he bumped me. I didn't win either of those races but came off the track feeling like it was a good race to watch from the stands. That's what it's all about "We aren't putting on a show, or a race, it's a Race Show" -29G Josh Trail Something to think about.... People don't want to watch 1 bike lead by half a lap and everyone else follow in a line. People want to see the battles for position. Just my thoughts.

Sure was a fun season... hate to see it end and winter come along. You're right though, TJ... Having someone to battle with makes the racing a LOT more fun AND more fun to watch.
Hopefully I can build an xl350 motor this winter, just not sure if it will fit in the Baker frame. Swingarm pivot/countershaft sprocket might not line up well. Would be nice to be able to race in other vintage classes though. I love the xr250 motor, but being a '79 restricts it to just the 400 class. I'll tell you what though... riding that KTM 450 was FUN!!! (more fun than fast with me on it... lol!)

nuts yeah it was fun guys!
I owe lots of people a huge thank you like Kyle, TJ, Toon & Brandon! Lending me parts kept Buttons goin'! Without ya'll, I wouldn't have made half the mains that I did.
It's gonna be a long winter rebuilding what's left. Ain't much left that isn't held on with duct tape or coat hangers, lol! Unless I find a screaming deal on a framer, I'll be back next year for sure on her! Hopefully with a touch more power, consistantsy & a lot more knowledge on my part!
