Has there been any talk about an awards banquet yet? Just wondering... My neighbor was asking if we were having it the weekend before Thanksgiving, the day before the Turkey Run at Jeeps. Seems like we did that a couple years ago. Just planning stuff...

It will NOT be Nov 19th, that's my 3rd annual birthday bash. We are trying to get it in before the end of the year though.

Hot damn! 2 hours of racing? I don't really know what a hare scrambles is, but I want to find out now! Do we get to jump nuts?

Take a look at Jeeps from satellite... zoom in... See all the trails and tracks? You'll be using ALL of them!
They plot a course a few miles long marked w/arrows and yellow stuff that winds around the whole place. Using parts of the mx, sx, vmx, and other trails... even the flattrack. The different classes line up in rows. Fast A class riders will start first (usually a dead bike start, sometimes straddling the front tire), then about a minute later they start the next row of B class... and so on to C, Vet 30, Vet 40, Vet 50, Beginner, etc... or whatever the classes are.
Looks like fun and I've always wanted to do one, usually I just help Dennis in the pits, cook burgers, and give him a slosh of gas about the hour and a half mark. I won't be riding anything for a while though... my shoulder is in pretty bad shape from my TT soil sample. I need to trade/swap/sell some stuff so I can get a good dirtbike for fun riding and hare scrambles anyway. I have to be ready for the "Best of KS 2012"!
