No doubt, I had a blast on the TT! Can we do this more often?

TT's are fun, if we are doing it more often I think guys will be looking to make sure their bikes work with a TT,
The Vintage Open Am lost a considerable amount of racers from the ST to the TT

Glad you & the boys finally found your way to Kansas Mark. I know some things were beyond your control this year, but I for one have missed your faces! Thank goodness for the occasional call and text message to keep in touch For those of you vintage riders who enjoyed the TT, you may want to check out the Vintage MX coming up October 30th at Jeeps. (Hint: you were riding part of the vintage MX track during the TT and my kids and I ride it all the time). Last year was the first try at this event and I've got to say it was very cool and had a great turnout! "Seasoned" vintage MX riders had nothing but praise for our facility and track, so I anticipate that this year will have an even bigger turnout! The track crew for this event has been working on it for weeks now and take pride in having a great track for the racers. Check out www.jeepscycleclub.com and/or the Jeeps forum forum.jeepscycleclub.com for all the info. As far as having more TT's in the future, don't get your hopes up. It takes a lot of time to prep a track. Any track. And for the TT it is a matter of completely cutting a new track each time. I know it's fun and everyone enjoys the change of pace (my first year racing son LOVED it). And don't think that this is just a "brush off" answer from me, as it has been MY rear end logging the majority of the hours in the tractor seat the past 2 years to get the TT built. Big thanks to Aaron Lindfors for making a special trip down to Wichita just to lay out the track for us, Ray & Brandon for throwing some water on it whenever I asked (I'll operate the tractor & any machinery you can hook up to it, but I don't do PTO's in water trucks LOL) and Tom for always being there to switch out the equipment behind the tractor so we could we could get the track built. And of course a big thanks to Jeeps for allowing us to tear up their property to do it in the first place. Now if you can find another TT track, let us know and we'll see what we can do about having a race there in the future!

I want to pipe in and say thanks too! Tammy, Tom, Dan, Randy, Daryl, Aaron, Brandon... and the sign-up girl that needs to learn NOT to take any money from Charlie... lol! It was a fun year and thank you guys for giving us a plce to race. I know it takes a lot of work to coordinate and get everything together and ready. You guys are the best!!! As for the TT... That was a blast!! It was the first time for me too. I was going pretty damn fast until I ran out of talent! Ha ha... I told you guys not to let me get out front... cuz then I think I have to twith the grip off it! ;D Now I remember how much it hurts to crash! Knee, ribs, and shoulder will be a while before they are healed up... Thanks again for the great season! Any plans for a awards banquet yet?

Well shoot. Thanks for all the hard work Tammy & crew. I'm not doubting one bit it's a chore to get that track ready.
Speaking of which, I've had a fair amount of time in a tractor saddle & know my way around a water truck (or about any other heavy equipment) so if ya'll need some help in the future, lemme know here! Schedule permitting, I'd love to help.
