Hi folks, nice place ya have here! I'm a newb to the site and hope ya don't mind me lurking about  How many plan to race at the Mississippi Valley track this year?I race a little vintage moto-x on a Elsinore 250 and a BSA B50, but have for years wanted to get on a flat track (vintage) and see how I like it. Last year was my first time to the swap meet in Davenport and the races. A few of us will be riding up and camping again this year can't wait can't wait! We were at the recent I-70 races and thank everyone that was able to attend. Personally, the car feature could of been about 80 LAPS LESS.... anyway you folks put on a great show! |

That B50 of yours would be perfect... Needs to be more Brits on the track. Do you still have the "dripping" paint job #309? Very cool... (we have a mutual friend in KC)
I've always wanted to go to Davenport, maybe this year will be the year.

Glad you enjoyed the races at Odessa.Hopefully it got you motivated enough to come out and try it soon.I haven't been dirt trackin a real long time but I got to tell you,Its definately the most fun I've ever had on a motorcycle.I also motocrossed for a lot of years but this sure seems like lots more fun.Maybe because I cant handle the abuse at my age motocross dishes out.Just wanted to welcome you to the site and tell you Jody Hale and I are signed up for Davenport.He raced up there last year but
this will be my first trip up.looking forward to it.Stop by and say hello.Or better yet, get your scooter ready and come give it a try.Seeya there!

I used the 'creepy' font I think it was in Corel Draw etc. I never really got to race after having a friend paint the graphics for me. Did some clutch work and rode it some in a friends field to test it, then heard a new noise in the lower end and that was the last time I had it started. I think 5 of us are riding up to IA next month. I'll look for you in the pits. |

A lot of the guys you saw at LaMonte will be in Davenport. Plus more and unique race bikes.
Come in the pits and say hi.
I'll be in the 600 pro and 750 pro classes.

Welcome to the flat track scene.
I don't know where you live, but August 24 at Peoria, the ARHMA vintage bikes will be on TT. It's worth seeing.
DuQuoin the night before on the mile.
Good racing left this year.
