Just wanted to say thanks to everybody involved with the I-70 event saturday. That was my first time off a short track and I for one was glad the track was a little on the odd side in size and shape. I learned a TON up there and can't wait to wheel around again.
Most of all I wanted to mention that you all have a great group of folks in your midst. I kept a pretty low profile, just doing the "people watch" thing and I was very impressed with what I saw. Not that I expected any less, being a southwest MO guy and knowing that crew from the local scene I knew they were some great folks already, just glad to see there are some nice guys and gals outside the hill country. LOL I'm very lucky to have guys around like them to drag me out to race. Even though it broke my "NO RACING in 08" goal. I'll justify it to myself easily enough cuz I just haven't had any luck finding practice time aside from the local short tracks and this big ole hook in my mouth aint gonna let me set around and wait any longer!
