Barton County Fair Race

Just to let everyone know the Barton County Fair Board is putting on a race, It will be run on July the 13th! Anyone that has been there before knows that myself and Jimmy Bell have been able to turn this track into a good racing surface( at least we think so)! And we will do it again if we will have riders show up for it. Every one that made the last race we had there, I think left happy, at least I hope so. I will not be in charge of running the race this time but I will be in charge of track prep. So hopefully payout will be good, and I promise we will do what we can for track prep. I'm sure the fair board would be more that happy to have all the help they can get, when it comes to running the race. If you are interested let me know and I will get you pointed in the right direction. Looks like I will have to work the first Jeeps race, but if I can figure something out we will try and make it, even know I probably wont be physically able to ride yet. Glad someone wants to see racing be what it needs to be! Thanks

I'll do my best to make it there. Please post up more details when they get sorted out. Thats not too far from Jeeps on Saturday the 12th. I think that having 2-race weekends spaced out a little are going to draw the most riders in these times of high travel expense. Especially for the folks coming from out of state... and I freak out about gas $$ just driving from Topeka in my little truck with one bike!

Thanks for helping to get another race together. Hope to see you back on the track soon... Love the sound of that big twin!

where is Barton county fair located? could the payout be posted for the pro class or is this one of the % payouts?

this is going to be great, saturday at Jeeps, Sunday at Great Bend, and Monday on the road to Pike's Peak!! I can't wait to go!!!

I have no idea how payout is going to be handled, I'm only the doing track prep. But if I hear something I will post it.
