It was suggested by a rider since we compiled a little "mini series" of 8 races for this year that we should keep track of points and have a little awards presentation (provided we get a sponsor to help with awards) following the Sunday afternoon race at Jeeps on Aug 17th. It had also been mentioned by Jeeps Board Members that we could use the clubhouse and fire up a grill or two that afternoon if we wanted.
Ideas? Feedback?

It would be wonderful to have an end of season gathering. Most often, the social event is even more gratifying than the rewards ceremonies.
I am willing to contribute to whatever will be done, be it toward awards or toward the "banquet". As we all know, Jeeps club has one of the best track burgers around and maybe you could get the concessionaire to "cater" a meal after the last event.
If a sponsor could be found, it would be great to provide awards for the amateur classes.
I suggest an estimate be put together for what a banquet would cost and what awards would cost. Then let us know the two amounts and we can pursue funding.
