The promoter at Butler County Motorplex assured me he would keep me informed on the weather around Rising City. I will update the forum with any information he gives me. If anyone needs to call me about the status of the races, my cell number is (316) 258-0861.
One of the biggest negatives a race track has to deal with is not necessarily the weather but the weatherman. Any time the weatherman starts talking about a cloud in the sky people stay away from race tracks in droves. We, for sure, do not want to see anyone drive a long distance for nothing, but we also do not want to see a promoter, who is trying to help flat tracking, get burnt because of incorrect information. So let's keep the weather guessing, on the forum, to a minimum.
If you want, wait till the last minute to leave, give me a call, we'll let you know whats going on, let us know you are coming, Tammy will get you signed in, and Dan will make sure you get to practice.
