Three events in two days, it will be wall to wall racing in Nebraska June 12th and 13th.
The weekend starts with a regular GPFTS program on the 12th at Butler County Motorplex in Rising City, Nebraska a 3/8th mi. track.
This will be the first time for motorcycles at this venue. As always there will be a 150% pay back in all the pro classes. Pro and amateur quads will run at this event. Sign in 4:00, practice 6:30, races 7:30.
Try to get a good nights rest because Sunday will be a busy day.
It's on to Nebraska Raceway Park (I-80 Speedway) on the 13th. NRP includes a short track and a wide, fast half-mile. The day starts with a short track which will be a regular GPFTS show with all classes including quads, this program will be shared with go-carts. Gates open at 7:00 AM for go-cart sign in, motorcycles and quads can enter at this time if they wish. Motorcycle and quad sign in is at 11:00 AM, practice 1:00 PM, heats 2:30, mains 4:30, with go-cart action in between.
Sunday evening there will be an abbreviated motorcycle program on the half-mile.
This show is in conjunction with two classes of late model stock cars (don't be alarmed the promoter assures me when the late models are finished with the track it's smooth and fast with rubber from top to bottom).
The classes for the evening are:
Pro 450, purse $800, $500, $400, $250, $150
Vintage Open Pro: $400, $200, $100
Open Amateur: 1st, 2nd, 3rd trophies
Pee Wee: This class will race around cones on the front straight (this class may not run depending on time restraints and the safety of the track). This show is a non-points paying race.
One pit pass will cover both shows on Sunday.
Entry fee per race: $25 amateur, $30 pro.
