I thought even with the rain and late start sat night it went pretty well. Then to show up sun morning to a wonderful looking track was a treat. Overall a pretty good weekend, thanks to the crew and Jeeps. Can't wait until may...

Well it was definately flat trackin Kansas style. WIND, ugly clouds, WIND, a lil lightning, WIND, a lil rain, WIND, beautiful sunshine! The orange shirt crew might not be able to control the weather but I thought they ran some awesome races this weekend. Never saw a race with 2 or 3 bikes in it. Thats good for everyone from the spectator to the racer. When the weather didn't help with track prep the track was beautiful. Even when there were delays on saturday night I never found myself wondering what the hell are we waiting on. My family and everyone that came to watch the boys race this weekend had fun and that must mean it was a good weekend. Good to see everyone after a long winter. Hope everyone that checked their speed to surface ratio this weekend has a speedy recovery. Chris Misener

I had a good time and want to thank everone for there hard work. Flipped my quad in the first heat race and had to load up to go to the ER. Found out I have a AC seperation of the shoulder so have to go see a orthopedist tomorrow. Tore the crap out of the quad though bent rim, axle, and steering stem, and broke off the neutral safety switch and broke my helmet so will have to see what the doctors says tomorrow on how long I will be out.

Glad to hear your ok otherwise, I heard an old rider once said, "The worst part about racing a quad is they can't lowside." the quad parts can be fixed, youl heal up in no time.

What a blast! I'm worn out... ;D Nice job getting the track race ready Saturday night... even after mother nature decided to water the track again. The track was beautiful Sunday AM as well. Not sure what the deal was, but I ran better on Saturday night despite the slicker track... Go figure! I'm not going to mention anything about finishing ahead of Bill for the VERY FIRST TIME EVER on Sat night! I hope the guys that went down are doing ok. Hate to see anyone get hurt out there, but it happens sometimes. Glad we had some good EMT's on the scene. Thanks to the GPFTS Crew and Jeeps for the fun weekend! Can't wait to do it again in May... What a great weekend!!
Special thanks to Clarke Racing for the KTM ride for Maddie.
The 50 class was a real glimpse into the future of our sport this weekend..... Things are looking real good. (we may need to have some nitro pills on hand for Dan and Tom next time Titan burns into turn 1 full throttle, they both had heart trouble after that!!)
We really appreciate all the hard work that went into putting the races on, and making sure it happened Saturday nite. It would have been the easy thing to do to cancel it..... But motorcycle racers seem NOT to pick the easy way,,,,ever.
Anyhow, our family and crew enjoyed every minute.
Josh Trail
PS...Kyle, it's called Iowegian Go Juice....And you may NOT have any........

Good to see everyone again indeed! We didn't stick around to spend an hour on goodbyes since somebody was in a hurry to get home and see what the smartest man on the planet had to say. I was a little surprised the 50+ super seniors class was scratched this year... was looking forward to that one end of May. Not really interested in running with the gnats (250's, 400's, light bikes etc) in the V open. Same deal on the 40+. It's great there's some kind of sponsorship for the GPFTS in general and on that note we were curious what that list of merchants is because every time we mentioned it people just kinda looked at us like huh?

DB that first part's not very nice why don't you like running with the small bikes? The second part is a good question. I read somwhere they want us to spend money in the park city area, that's good but knowing what business to spend money at is better. Why spend money at a business that has not clue what is going on. Also could there be a hotel in park city to jump on board and get us group rates? I stayed in wichita because that was the cheapest hotel withen 15 miles. A local hotel supports us and we spend money there, win win.
