Park City Series Info

Is there anymore info available for the series with in? Namely how the points will work and the awards.
This could Swayed a decision to use money ear marked for other venues!

Why is there no information on the Park City Series? Some of the race dates conflict with other races in the area that are big events. With race $ budgets short, points and/or awards will determine where we race. The sooner the details are published, the sooner we can finalize our race plans for 2010. We would like to race all the Great Plains series if possible. Won't someone with their hands on the purse strings come forward with the info?

Sorry about not getting this information out, I was hoping I could announce an exact dollar amount but as of now I cannot. As of right now we have over $5,000 in money and merchandise to be given away, for an end of the season points fund, to all classes for the Park City Dirt Track Series.
Points will be paid the same as our regular GPFTS races, 20 for 1st, 16 for 2nd, 13 for 3rd, etc.
Season ending awards will be distributed with consideration of the number of participants in each class.
VERY IMPORTANT: In order for a rider to be eligible for season ending awards in the Park City Dirt Track Series they must participate in at least sixty per cent of the series races.
A big thank you to the Park City Convention & Tourism Committee
for making this series possible, and also the Jeeps Motorcycle Club for giving us a home track. There will be a post soon on the home page listing everyone that has contributed to the Park City series as well as the GPFTS season.
