A big thank you to the good people of the Park City Convention & Tourism Committee who has enough faith in Jeeps Motorcycle Club, GPFTS, and most of all the racers of the GPFTS to agree to sponsor a series within a series. $4,000 was awarded to the Jeeps Motorcycle Club and GPFTS for the Park City Flat Track Series which will include eight races at Jeeps and possibly some 81 Speedway. All of this was made possible because of all the hard work of Daryl Walter, president of Jeeps. THANK YOU, DARYL
Details of how the money will be used will be coming soon.

We are trying to buy a grader and very close but Daryl will not use any of the money that we got from Park City for that. He wants it all to go to the racers.. SWEET!!

I was at the meeting last Friday. It is obvious that Jeeps and Park City want to see the Flat Track succeed. The members voted to make a very large purchase of the grader for the flat track when they could have easily used the money to purchase something for one of the MX tracks. As with everyone else thanks Jeeps and Park City. Team Kurtz

Team Kurtz That is great, one thing I always hear about at races is track prep, nobody wants to race on a poor track, great example, the NE indoor earlier this year, nice and smooth, slick as ice.. lost a lot of riders the second day... So with the extra track equipment this makes me even more excited about getting down there to chase people around the track... Does this mean the track is going to be bigger, or just better..?

My back is hurting from all this patting me on the back. We should also thank Greg Gilman and Randy Koster for making the Jeeps presentation to the Park City Convention & Tourism Committee. I was not able to be there because of my mom in the hospital. They did a great job. It is nice to have people that can fill in for you when you need them to. Again thanks to Greg and Randy.
