The idea of racing is great, the turnout was better than I expected. The track was bigger than I thought as well.
The only bad thing was the track is slick, headed back there in awhile, I don't expect they did anything to try and make it better for today. We will see.
Colt was pretty impressive last night, starting on the THIRD ROW, coming up through the pack and finishing on the tail of the 2nd place bike (the way he was going a couple more laps he could have taken 2nd)
Snyder did well as always,
I took 3rd in both heats, then for the main my choke was left on for the 150 class (durrr..) had a great start only to bog down and get passed. Then in the 400 vintage the bike died at the line. Found out the wire broke off of the condensor. So off to try again.
Ed Kosiski says they are going to try and put another on in January, as well as run 4 races next year (2 on the half mile and 2 on the new 1/4 they are building)

Today went well, the track as expected was not touched, while the low line was still slick the top came in to be useable and it seemed as more passing happened. There were alot less riders today.
They again talked about putting one on in January and getting a system to better circulate the air without freezing us out.
Mentioned about the races next season the (2) 1/2 and (2) 1/4 Ed had mentioned since it would be run together with a car show (race) they would be limeted to the classes they could run. Ed said maybe 3 classes, or running more classes but combining the races to save time. <- this makes sense to me, for example having 3 or 4 bikes in the vintage 400 and 3 or 4 bikes in the vintage open, run them at the same time but score them seperate, I personally have no issues scoring it together or seperate. I have seen Josh and Bill on smaller bikes compete and beat some bigger bikes at a couple different tracks.
Lets get some feedback so we can make this happen better next time. As well as some thoughts about these proposed 4 races..
Thansk again to the Crew for doing a great job supporting the racing.

That was a nice place to race indoors, much better than i thought it would be. That track really had me spooked though. Maybe I psyched myself out, I don't know.. but I had hell Saturday night. The bike ran good after the head work and that was my first experience wrenching on a Honda motor, but man my front end was sliding all over and the back end too anytime I hit the brakes very hard. Other folks seemed to get around just fine... I think my problem was the guy on the seat of my bike! I decided to call it good and skipped Sunday, but I hope they have more events there, that is a nice facility!
TJ - Too bad about your wire breaking just as we rolled out for the main Saturday. Glad you got it fixed and the bike did good Sunday though. Thats a sweet ride...
Great news about more races next year, too!!

We had fun saturday...... (Had too much stuff to get done Sunday to go......small business ownership is awesome! !) Titan liked racing, a little slick, but okay. TJ liked racing, a lot slick, but okay. I always love to hang with Kyle, King Kirk, Bomber, etc... the usual suspects... I personally don't enjoy being a spectator, I'm just not wired that way. The races were action packed and everyone went home in one piece, so that was good. I look forward to future indoor races. Hopefully I'll be watching from a different seat!!!! Hopefully races at I-80 speedway will come to be next summer. I like the 1.5 hour drive vs. 5.5 hours. see you next time Josh Trail

Speaking of "usual suspects," which one of you told Donnie I sang the Anthem??? I'm guessing it was one of you Nebraska boys....
