I got to get on the old river back home on a 5 day rafting/fishing trip with my daughter Laurel and more my family from AZ. We had an absolute blast! AZ is beautiful this time of year, especially far away from civilization. We didn't see another person for 5 days of great fishing, swimming, and fun in the sun...    Just thought I'd share... but I'm back and ready to get on the track! Kyle#44x |

Welcome back Kyle, some nice catfish there! Were they good eat'n? It's great to get away, I can't believe none of your others there at home went along? You ARE coming to LA RACEWAY this Saturday right??

Yeah, that big one fed 10 people all we could eat and it was DELICIOUS! One of the biggest fish I ever caught on a pole, had to have some help gettin' him in. Only one daughter wanted to go, the others had concerts, work, etc... and not all are into the stuff I grew up doing, unfortunately.  Sorry, but I can't make it to LaMonte... I'm saving my pennies for Jeeps the following weekend. Besides, we'll have the Nat'l Hotshoe in Topeka on July 31st. I still expect a full report though! Good luck to the GPFTS riders there!!! TJ is shooting up the jungle in Minnesooota. He's on summer duty for the Guard. He won't make it back in time to go the 13th. My brother Dave can't make it either. I think I might bring the whole family on this trip. I might even ride TJs CRF1000 in the 150 class.... That's not a typo, we put the 1000 cc big bore kit in it!!  Josh |

Too bad they can't come... I kind of liked our class running full, besides I needed to settle a score with TJ for not being able to get around him last time we raced. That was a blast! I put a new sticky maxxis cd3 on front just in case we got in the same situation again... Doh! I'm anxious to try out the new little bike anyway though. As for the CRF1000... as long as it looks stock-ish you'll be fine.  Kyle#44x |
