Pins dropping all around, like everyone went back into hibernation or maybe just busy outside doing stuff. After that small sample at Jeeps I got an itch (not that kind of itch now c'mon). Might be setting the mower deck REALLY LOW this weekend for the front yard and a 1st gear flat TT.

I know what you mean... Thats why people need LOTS of motorcycles... So when you get that itch there's always something to ride. A dirtbike, streetbike, dual-sport, etc... cause staring at a flattracker isn't near as fun as riding one. (unless you drink a lot of beer) I still have work to do... getting number plates sorted tonight. Already drilled, just need to put my 44x overlays on the plates and mount 'em up. Got a nice gooey cd3 maxxis to mount up too... Kyle#44x

Kyle I was curious how the new bike is coming. Sounds like you are about good to go. My vintage dirt bikes both need a little love so they sit for now I did put a new tire on the back of the sporty last Sat at my buddies house (new beer fridge in garage ;D). That was a first for that bike, I've always paid the shop to do it. When I left the house this morning the 01 Sportster showed 78,000 miles even... that was kinda cool. Chopper needs a bearing in the back wheel and a new speedo, no emergency there so I head off most evenings to the night gig but I have cut the hours back some, you can get only SO MUCH blood from a turnip. I'm going to do the camp in late May which is good fun on a 125 but the next race that I see is June 6th in LaMonte, still a ways away. You planning to race at LaMonte?

I'm not sure if I can swing LaMonte. Between now and then I'm going home to AZ for a 5-day raft trip through the wilderness with my daughter Laurel. Can you believe the wife and my other 4 daughters didn't want to go?? Good luck at Supercamp, wish I could go too. Seeing the Mile would be really cool. Maybe someday... They say it will be televised at a later date, but I haven't heard when though. Kyle#44x

A couple of good races in your guys area coming up. Next Thursday night in Alexander, Illinois on a brand new 1/4 mile short track Steve Nace has an open vintage class. Then on May 31 at Columbus Junction, IA a 1/2 mile with lots of classes including vintage light 0-400 and heavy 401 and above.
Check out SteveNaceRacing.com or give me a call and I'll fill you in.
See you at the camp at Springfield. Not camping this time but will be at the fairgrounds for the amateur tt Friday and the GNC race on Saturday.

Thanks for the info Randy. I've done a little searching and the May 31st date looks like a possibility. This is what I found so far:
CJ SPEEDWAY is located at the Louisa County Fairgrounds in Columbus Junction, Iowa. It's a 4/10 mile semi banked dirt track. Sunday May 31st – AMA Pro Am Motorcycle Series Gates Open at 10:30 am, Hot Laps 12:00, Heat Races at 2pm.
I didn't see anything yet regarding classes but will continue looking.

Per the AMA website, the TT pro main will be shown 5/23 at 920pm and the expert main will be shown 5/23 at 945pm
The Mile Pro main will be shown 5/24 at 320pm and the Expert main will be shown 5/24 at 345pm
I'm assuming all time are CST but it doesn't say one way or another. But it appears it's all live.
