Maybe I shouldn't have said "whole" powroll top end. It's still a 250, but powroll did the roller bearing cam, porting, titanium valves, etc... I know it has more compression than stock. All I know on the crank is that it is one-off, very lightweight, and custom made for the ignition.
I think the frame is original, but I don't know how to tell for sure. I can't seem to find out anything about the Baker frames on the internet. Do you know who made them?

... The rear of the frame loop is a little narrow so the upper ends of the shocks were mounted outside the mounts. I need to make different spacers to strengthen the mounting I think... Kyle#44x Nice looking bike, Kyle! In the photo you posted it looks as if the rear tire is rubbing on the left shock. That is probably just distortion from the angle of the photo, but it reminds me of something.... Hey, mullet guy,Spacers....hint, hint. #20m

Must be a shadow, they are in the clear...
BG - Lots of folks run theirs inverted to decrease unsprung weight. I always thought the oil would be more inclined to leak out if I did that.

C&J made "Dallas Baker" frames. Just marketed as Dallas Baker. Those are gas shocks is the reason they're "upside down". Oil only shocks won't work too well that way. Pat.

Looks like one of Bobby Ramer's "Terry Poovey " replicas. May even be Bob's origional short tracker. If it is it'll be darn fast and great handling. Good buy , Kyle . Reminds me of the woman who picked up this old Navaho woman on the reservation and gave her a ride into Clovis. She had a bottle of wine on the seat in a bag and the old lady asked what was in the sack. She replied ' It's a Bottle of wine. I got that for my Husband" "Good trade " said the old woman" LOL TCL

Good one Tom!
I don't know the history, but you have me curious now. I'll ask the next time I talk to the guy, Britt Wilkinson. I'll post this in your other race post, but he sid that he and 5 of his friends would come to the races you are trying to get together.
