All right, Which one of you jaybirds washed your car this week and jinxed us on the weather forcast? Last time I looked at the weekend forcast it was looking good, now its 30 and 40 percent chance of rain.I sure hope it changes by Friday.Sure looking forward to getting back to the flatlands and seeing everyone.We'll be watching the weather from over here in the hills and hoping for a break.

I didn't wash anything, anything with paint and wheels that is... but checked NOAA just a minute ago (9:50am Thurs) here's what they have for now in the Wichita area:
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 83. Breezy, with a south wind between 21 and 26 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.
Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy and breezy, with a low around 61.
Sunday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76.
Sunday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.
It's only Thursday so maybe it will come later or earlier lets hope.

Alright, I guess you got me there with the 80 and 90 percent chances.Never thought of myself as a glass half empty kind of guy but your definetly right,30 or 40 sounds much better.Need some of this 75 degree weather we're having during the work week on the weekend.Daniel, I doubt you need any washing on that big twin.Sounds like you pretty much have it ready to ride.Looking forward to seeing what you've done to the old viper.I think you'll like it. I had a pretty good time riding it the two or three races I got to ride.

Well it wasn't me! I've been out at the track the past two nights and my car is DIRTY but I figured it wasn't worth getting it washed until the weekend was over. The track is looking GOOD too!

Today is Thursday!
I've been running around the house, slamming doors and switching on and off lights, trying to get everything together to go racing, while poor Chris is in bed wanting to sleep. I feel a little guilty keeping the old guy awake, but I figure he can sleep in tomorrow.
Finally, he asks me, "When are the races at Jeeps?"
"Sign in is at 4:00 tomorrow, and at 1:00 on Sunday." I reply as I toss boots and gloves out of the closet.
"And what is today?"
"Friday... where is it ? Have you seen my steel shoe?"
"Today is Thursday."
Hmm, sigh of relief. I can wait until late tomorrow before I start my panic packing. I do need to wash the car, though, it is a mess.
