Pat, In another forum, it was announced "He Who Must Not Yet be Named" (he was identified) was going to proceed with the Stockton races this year. The other forum was taken off line shortly after the announcement (a conflict of interest, at the least). I guess we will all have to wait for the official announcement before we know all the details. As for the Honda Red Rider money, I do not believe that is something anybody can "keep". Any race promoter/organizer can apply for it for their series, but I have no idea how many races you must promote to be eligible. What is promising for anybody putting on races in the aftermath of the NFTRA failure is that Honda already had the money budgeted for this year. I know.......not much help......but it is encouraging to know somebody is pursuing the possibility of promoting the Stockton events.

Honda Red Rider money is awarded to eligible events/series/promoters, but never does that organization actually have the money in hand. Results are sent in to Honda and riders are paid directly from what I understand. So like Dan said, the money is potenially there since it was originally budgeted. Whether or not the Stockton promoter will go after it or even have enough time to apply for it is another question all together.

I didn't mean to imply that roger would keep the money himself. I thought perhaps he was going to perhaps put on some races closer to home. PL
