I have the cam cover off my Yamaha 540 TT and I just dropped part of a zip tie into the cam chain gallery! I think I can see it way down in there, does anyone know how to get it out? Can I just take off the lower right side cover and get to it? I have my little Clymer book open in front of me but am too upset to comprehend anything! I remember the race following my first win in the 600 class. I was having problems with my bike. Johnny Isaacs, Steve Nichols and Terry Poovey noticed, told me to go sit and relax by the fan (it was a hot day) and they worked on my bike. Sure wish I was fast enough to have people to do that for me all the time! #20m

Thanks Gary! My luck must be changing, since you were around to see my message. I'll call Fred in a little bit, warn him will you? #20m

Getta: Bob C here. Yes you can take the right side cover off and it should be there. That's where the hole goes. Nice to see Gary still around.
