Thanks for the warning Tom!!! I am hoping to make it. Dunno if he'll be there or not, but I know a certain number17 that has done some ice racing in the past.

Charlie and I will be there... Should be interesting. I think Jason Griffin is supposed to be racing the ICE series this year... so I have to see that to believe it!

Ice is ready here in Iowa. Might get a short ride in tomorrow, but taking my son deer hunting this weekend. After that we will ride every weekend. Anyone from your area want to try we have a old honda we take to try and recruit new riders. I think you would look good on a red 500! Let me know when you are on your way! Enjoy the holidays.

Nice to know you lurk on our site, even if you don't log in. Good luck with the ice racing. Hope you are all healed up from your crash after Stockton. You better believe I would look good on that Honda, I look good on ANY bike! If I get the urge to come check it out you'll be the first to know. You are fortunate that you are the admin. of this forum. After the stockton war on here, I'm surprised that any one would want to be associated with me and here you go posting a pic of the famous or infamous bike. Been working on my new ride a few hours each day now. Can't wait to get it running! Love doing this stuff. Plan on a few races up north. Check out CWIRA.COM. Thinking Sherwood on Jan. 11 will be the first that I will race. Wish me luck.

There was an article in todays paper on the races. Says local amateurs can race pit bikes or quads and they will provide the studs. Sign up is at 5pm, races at 7:30. Topekan Dustin Savard will be racing his quad it says.

Wish I knew sooner, would have been fun to take the little xr80 and try it! Clutch is slipping real bad though...
