Is there any idea on the upcoming races for next year?
I just bought a 1977 XL350 to run in the vintage class. I have my CRF100 to run in the 150 class. (hopefully I don't get run over in either class for being slow)
Josh is going to help me lighten the XL up this winter.. I kind of hate to tear it down it is a pretty clean bike being mostly original with a title..
I would like to know of any planned races now so I can start my vacation planning..

An XL350? I think you and Josh should add weight to it... ;D
Dang... I'd better get my act together this winter. I think my tired old 250 has seen its last races.
So far the only dates set are for Aug 10th and 11th at Stockton, so definately take those days off.

I was hoping for a couple of events at Odessa (I-70 Speedway) but the future of the track is in question I guess. I found this on the web site: FOR SALE OR LEASE i-70’S TRACKS AND 278 ACRES OF LAND ARE FOR SALE OR LEASE CURRENTLY. iF INTERESTED PLEASE CONTACT OWNER bRAD mCDONALD VIA HIS EMAIL ACCOUNT onLY - i70speedway@hotmail.com I-70 will celebrate it’s 2008 track champions at the C.A.R.B Banquet on December 6th - check www.kccarb.com for details on the event. Thanks to THE drivers, crew and i-70 employees and volunteers alike for supporting the track in a turbulent race season. check this website for future news and updates REGARDING THE TRACKS. www.i70speedway.net/ Well maybe somebody will buy it and sponsor even more motorcycle races. I'll be watching with eyes and ears for all upcoming events.

Yes, Brad shared with us that it has been a difficult year for them there at I-70, as I think it has been for track owners everywhere. Brad was PUMPED about the show we put on both times at I-70 (imagine what he would have thought it we had larger rider counts-both Odessa races were pretty slim) and said he wanted us there on a regular basis if they were still open next year. We wish Brad and the I-70 crew the best of luck, whatever happens and we would certainly love the opportunity to work with them again in the future if it works out.
Now, as far as other races, we are working on it. It is a little early right now though. Kyle is correct, we will be doing Stockton again (remember that is a Monday and Tuesday). As soon as we have the schedule, we will post it for you all, I promise!

Randy - I have a really nice 1/6 mile red clay shorttrack in Little Rock. I would be open to hosting a race here if we can agree on a date that works for all of us. Maybe something early in '09, like late March or early April?? I know it's not as close as Kansas or Missouri, but you guys could do the traveling for a change, right?? ;D
