I was wondering who plans to be at Odessa? It makes me sick to see the Orange Shirt Crew put so much time and effort into this venture and then have 15 riders show up at Great Bend.

Those of you that didn't support the program last Sunday missed a great track and a fun afternoon. Jimmy Bell and his family needs a great big pat on the back for all of the hours they put in to make a nice racing surface....for the 15 of us that decided to show up.

Can you tell I'm a little miffed?

I'm encouraging everyone to get their bikes out and make a little road trip to Odessa this week. I think we all owe it to the Orange Shirts to have a good showing. They have bent over backwards for us....now it's our turn to do it for them.

I'll be at Odessa. Sorry I couldn't make Great Bend, we're having to re-roof the house and things are tight. I plan on making Odessa, the GNC, and the Pro-Am for a final blowout weekend!

any times yet? I've been all around and can't find anything?

Been up in the Blue Springs/Oak Grove/Odessa area all week and nobody I spoke with knew anything about it at all unless I told em! Most all of them knew about the dirt drags saturday if that tells you anything! LOL We gotta get the word out I talked to more than 20 racers/spectators who are gonna try to make it but I didn't know when to tell em it was going down. Folks gotta know when to show up before there gonna make too big of plans.

Personally my bike is in about 1,000 pieces along with everything else around here after being gone all week, If I can't make the start time then it is pointless for me to work myself to death trying! PLEASE POST SOME DETAILS!

PS: regardless I will likely work myself to death to get up there friday night but if I don't get to ride..............................man the fur WILL FLY! LOL

I just found the practice at 6 and races at 7:30? No way in hell to get the kids out of school and to the track in time if thats the final times!

Dissapointed? More than a little, Oh well thats the great thing about hare scrambles.

If you click on the calendar at the top of the page it has the start times and classes, etc...

Pull them kids out of school early... It'll give the other kids time to catch up!

I can't think of too many excuses to miss three races this weekend.

Sorry, I don't pull the boy out for much, certainly not to watch me race. Not to mention the extra hit to the wallet for those of us with normal working hours. Sure don't want to add to the already horrible mortage crisis if i don't have to! LOL

From what I "hear" the start times are even earlier than the normal friday night times for cars, if thats accurate then it aint gonna happen for me or anybody I have talked to in that area. seems they have jobs as well. If anybody "official" thinks they can get it rolled back a little then please post it.

I posted some info pushing the Odessa race on the flattrack.com forum and there is a question about pro license for money classes that I can't answer. Can you check it out?
