Aid to Injured Riders (AIR) will be at Topeka for the final fundraiser of the 2008 season. We will be drawing for our quilt so if you haven't bought your tickets yet you can do so there. The tickets are $5 a piece or 5 for $20. If I can dig out some of the old posters I'll bring them too. We also have some tshirts left if you want one and some stickers. Or if you'd just like to stop by and say hi you're more than welcomed to do that as well. We'll have our canopies set up hopefully in the same place with our donation bucket out. Hope to see everyone there for an exciting season finale. ;D

Looking forward to seeing you Saturday Nicalee. My plans have changes as far as when I get up to Topeka (driving back to Wichita after Odessa now). So not sure how much help I can be at the AIR booth, but I'll do what I can. I'll call ya. Drive safe!

Thanks Tammy! It'll be great to see you for sure! Ugh that's some traveling time for you! I just got off the phone with Sammy Sweet and we'll have some of his shirts to sell as well as Tyler Porter's Fight For Dirt Track t-shirts and hoodies. So everyone come check us out! ;D

Nicalee, thanks for the hookup in Topeka this weekend. Didn't get much of a chance to visit, you are a busy woman! I was excited to meet Tyler though, he's a good guy. I took a friend to her first AMA race this weekend and she is HOOKED! She is ready to do Springfield next year!
Thanks again for your generosity.
Tam

Tammy it was so great to see you Saturday! I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you. Seems like every time I saw you I was being pulled in a different direction. I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who donated for the quilt, bought t-shirts, bought stickers, posters, made donations and in general stopped by to say hi. We had a great time at Topeka both times and it was really cool to be that close to home and having such a huge night for AIR. We appreciate it.
I sent the name of the winner of the quilt with Sue Murray so I'll get it from her and make sure to post it.
We also decided that since the quilt raffle was a success we'd go ahead and draw 3 more names for a 2003 signed poster, a 2004 signed poster and a cookbook. I'll be sure to get the names posted of the winners.
Again a huge thank you to everyone who cameby and visited with us & with Tyler (fightfordirttrack.com). Tyler and I got together and designed a pretty cool new t-shirt for AIR it should be available around December. Will post a pic when we get them.
Thanks everyone! Tammy I'm glad you're friend is hooked, it's so cool to see new people getting into the sport, we'll have a blast at Springfield...for sure!

Just a quick update we netted just over $1,000.00 at the Topeka Grand National and we'd like to extend a huge thank you to all the fans who generiously donated their money to help the riders.
Quilt Winner (drawn by Kenny Coolbeth) was Terry Lannom of Chester, IL 2003 autographed poster (drawn by Jake Johnson) was Lisa Clark out of Cumberland, MD 2004 autographed poster (drawn by Joe Kopp) was Rachel Weidman from Westerlo, NY and Brady Mueller drew Paul Oberreitel's name of Springfield, IL for the AIR Cookbook.
Thank you again! Nicalee
