Very nice picture! I've heard of that place before. Is that the place McGee was telling me about? Where they have a big rally and car or bike shows sponsored by Hot Wheels?

In 2006, Mattell held an event there and even painted the water tower for the occasion (you will have to go see it for yourself ;D) www.toymania.com/news/messages/8385.shtmlI think there is still a local following that has been holding swap meets there every year. To get to Speed, you go 17 miles north out of Stockton to Glade, then 6 miles west on Highway 9. |
