On July 4, 1914 the first Dodge City 300 was held in Dodge City, Kansas sanctioned by the FAM (Federation of American Motorcyclists), which is the forerunner to today’s AMA, this was a ground breaking event because all the era’s manufactures were represented. One hundred years after that historic day on July 4, 2014 Dodge City, Kansas will host the Dodge City 300 Centennial celebration. One of the cornerstone events of this 4 day get-together will be short track races at the world famous, 7,000 seat Roundup Rodeo Arena, 608 South 14th Ave Sign in 1:00, Practice 3:00, Races 4:00 Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in all amateur motorcycle and quad classes, including Open knobby motorcycle class.
