Davenport Iowa Trip

Hey guys, just thought I would say a few things about the Iowa race this past Friday. First of all just want to thank Mike Mendenhall for the opportunity to ride his bike at the races, and of course Mr. Smiley and the Trail family for everything they did (including all the humor) and Terry Deboard, getting to spend time with all these guys was a blast. The track may not have been in the best conditions but I think it's safe to say us Great Plains guys handled it O.K. I ended up 3rd in the 70's Singles and 7th in the 80's and had a ton of fun doing it. Terry ended with a 4th in the Singles and 9th in the twins with some very fast guys in both classes. It was definitely a little hot outside but everybody survived!

P.S. hopefully we can get a couple videos together of the races, we had some pretty cool footage

Congrats on the riding and I'm glad you guys were there to represent the GPFTS in style. Would love to go to Davenport someday!

Josh finished 6th in the singles and 12th in the twins.

I rode my new bike in the 70's singles misseed the A Main by one spot finishing 4th in a 3 row bike B main.

I rode Rob Goodwins twin finishing 2nd to last in my heat (full of fast guys except me and one other) finished ahead of 2 in the first main, Didnt get to race the second main.
