;D
Just wondering if anyone is still kicking and what they are working on over the winter?
I'm still healing. I can ALMOST run again. Made an entire 1/4 mile before the knee locked up and calf muscle said NO! I have a little ways to go to meet that 2 mile requirement the Army wants me to run.
Have been doing some snowmobiling and skiplane flying with Trail.
Should seriously look into making time for my twin and get that together for the next year.
Enjoy your winter,
-Smiley

Yawn.... Is winter over yet? Hanging in here... just trying to keep the wood stove burning and the wood piled high. Just got my basement back, so time to work on the bike. Need to pull the motor and fix the lower mount... but have vehicles with issues to deal with too.

Smiley, good to hear ya makin' progress man! Joe, you stay outta trouble now! Kyle, how's next year lookin'? I need to head up yer way fer some parts asap. Me? I moved, got a job as a machinist in Mcpherson. Still been wrenching on the death-o-matic streetbike: '07 ZX10R. Gonna be naked with carbon fiber wheels, about 370lbs & 165 horse when I'm done. Took this out the other day Josh: & she's one bad mother, lemme tell ya! Real sensitive pitch attitude wise, I'd always heard nothing flies like a Bonanza & they ain't nutstin'. Compared to the high wing Cessna puddle jumpers, I thought I was flying an F16. The aural experience once you crack the throttle on that big flat six is orgasmic.

Afghanistan is beautiful. The nice thing is I have plenty of time to look online at all kinds of vintage drag bikes, streamliners, and stuff I don't need to buy and get involved with. My racer was about 90% complete when I left, still need to button up the wiring, mount the gas tank, and fab up a seat. Just waiting to get back and start riding and wrenching.

Good luck to you, I remember those days, I am guessing you are on one of the main Air bases. Unless you are a JTAC. Good luck to you and safe travels.

I like to think I'm pretty much THE Bad Mamma Jamma around here, but I'm still not bad enough to be a JTAC. So yeah I'm at one of the big bases. This base is pretty secure, I guess I'm lucky to have a desk job. Thanks for the well wishes. I hope to have everything together and be racing with everyone next year.

Gotta do something to pass the time... Been out riding with a coworker and his hot shot moto-x kid... slogging through the mud and climbing hills on the dirtbike. Rock-n-roll!
