Hey I am new to this flat track stuff! I grew up on the dirt tracks with karts and sprint cars so racing isn't new just the flat track stuff. I bought a yz250 2 stroke play on. Just curious Wat classes I could run in. Where can I find some rules any more races this year. Wat is some good tires to use? Any info I need to know? Any parts I need to buy to make my bike handle better or be easier to ride! U can text 785 673 6162 me if u want! I'm located in dodge city. Thanks

There are no more races this year, Sunday was our last race. On the home page there is a link to the rules page you could run250 amature, open amature ,vet40, if you are 40 years old or older. If you want to run pro you could run 450 pro and open pro. We would be glad to have you race with us in the future........Tom

Thanks www.gpfts.com for classes and info, also get on flattrack.com durelleracing.com is the place I get my tires and suspension. Maxxis or Goodyear/dunlop are purpose made for flattrack, you can also use some enduro type tires, but not for long you will out ride them tires

Early this year I had bought a 82 yamaha street bike with the intention of making a flat tracker. I'm yet to ride it down the driveway, let alone on the track. If I had it to do again I'd save and buy a flat track bike. Just a thought man.
