Friends and flat track family prayers are needed for Billy Dusenbery who suffered a massive heart attack this morning. After mowing the lawn he went in to take a shower when his wife Pam heard a loud noise in the bathroom and found him. I am told he will be in a drug induced coma until Wednesday. He is in the ICU at St Francis Hospital here in Wichita. As I know more I will share it.

UPDATE:
They have started the process of raising Billy's body temperature back to normal and weening him off the medications which are currently keeping him in a coma. This is a slow process and will not be complete until late Wednesday or early Thursday. From that point it is a waiting game to see how long it takes him to wake up; could be hours, could be weeks. Continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Billy is breathing on his own (breathing tubes removed), heart machine is only doing 50% of the work and he is responding to commands. What great news!!!!

We no more than pulled in the drive from Stocktonand unhooked the trailer and went to the hospital to see Billy. He looked very good and enjoyed some of the pics and stories we shared from the weekend. He is in a private room now and is scheduled to go in for surgery this week, so keep those prayers coming!
