Here is a little video of Aaron and Joel getting Chance and Jeff ready for Nationals. Nothing like riding in a dust bowl and a 105 outside. They all rode their butts off. Thanks again Aaron and Joel www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewHux4wijTM&feature=share

Day one on the tt was tuf. We knew it wouldnt be his best race going in. 28 bikes in class only top 2 from heats n semis move on. Chance had a good takeoff but they all got bottled necked in the first tight turn. Chance took a handlebar to the back. He lost a couple more spots n moved on to the semi. Semi is was looking good a rider went down in front of him. Chance jumped the kids front tire but as he landed another bike hit chance in the side. Hit him hard enuf the break his shifter. It stalled chances bike and he was done. He is headed to honda shop for a new shifter n getting geared up for the half mile of pea gravel tomorrow. He is pretty fired up for tomorrows race. I will let you all know how it goes.

Sounds like is getting all sorts of bad luck.. I guess when you have that many AM riders trying to get to #1 they are going to fight for every inch. I hope the rest of the week goes much better..
We're back home rooting for you..

Half mile pea gravel report. Same as tt only top two transfer to main. Chance quickly learned that he needed about 40 lbs more in his butt in order to get traction. By the time he was done spinning the pack had checked out. In the semi he had to start on the second row. He got a much better takeoff. He was able to pickoff a few riders but came up a couple spots short of making main. Overall great day. Nothing prettier than seeing your kid sliding sideways thru a half mile turn with the trottle wide open and a big roaster tail of pea gravel behind him. Well thats all for today getting ready for the mile tomorrow. Jeff will be joining us. Also jodi hale is here. He said hi to the gpfts racers. You guys enjoy clay center tomorrow and be safe.
