Just wondering what everyone has done over the winter to get their bikes up and running? Any big changes? 3 weeks out and it's go time. I'm getting pretty excited to make it home and go racing. The only thing I know that was done to my bike is that the top end was torn down to check for damage from my cam follower breaking last year and to ensure it was good to go for the year. I got some new Durelle suspension, got rid of the 38mm Round slide and a new 36mm is going on. HUGE thanks to Josh Trail for taking care of everything while I am away. Couldn't ask for a better friend or race partner. Not sure what all he has done to my bike, but I am sure there is some sabotage in the works.. Kyle, how is yoru 350 venture coming along?

Well, I haven't been able to get going on the 350 motor yet... Trying to get my 250 up to snuff. Got the seat cut down finally. Having some trouble with the swingarm and some new rear suspension issues. Hoping Durelle can get me fixed up too... The durelle shocks have a 1/2 inch more throw than the S&W's. Makes my tire hit the seat hoop on full compression. Trying to find a happy medium where the shocks will work and still keep the swingarm to the angle that Davey wanted me to use. Tinkered on it a little last night though, new brake pads and fluid, made a guess at 81 Speedway gearing, etc... Cleaning carb and retorquing head bolts tonight. I'll be there in one form or another... Hopefully with some rear shocks that don't bottom out like last year! ;D

Actually,,,
I grafted an old XR75 top end on to TJ's 350. I don't think he'll notice the difference. It's all Honder parts anyhow.
I can't make TJ's bike faster than the Bul-Fighter......
See you kids in Wich in a couple weeks.........

You might want to move that pipe to the right side of the bike. It may not looklike it willdrag on the left , but it will and it will lift the bike off the ground. CRASSSSSSHHHH anyway when you are really laying it over things are a lot different tha standing still and leaning it down. this is when you also find that your left footpeg shouldalso have been raised about 21/2 1nches and reattached to the frame. this alsohelps you pick up your foot with the steel shoe when you start toraise the bike when sliding. Just a couple of things that nobody thinks about untilit puts youon your head. TCL 74n

Oh yeah, shorten and raise your shift lever so it doesn't upshift you in the corner and spin you out ( maybe into someone else hurting you both. I had to learn all this stuff the hard way , because backin the day everything was a closely guarded secret. now other racers willhelp you. 74n
