Any chance of having an open practice date at Jeeps to knock the rust off?
Thanks Mike

I think an open practice day is a great idea. Looking at the schedule times we don't get very much practice before racing on the 29th. Never a good idea to go into a race situation after a long winter with little track time. Does anyone know the cost to rent the track for a day and to keep it maintained throughout the day? We could rotate sessions based on bike size. Does anyone have the contact info to either track?

I will talk with the track prep crew about possibly doing a practice day either the 23rd or 24th.

OK HERE IS THE DEAL
The track will be available by 10am Saturday April 23rd.
There will be MINIMAL PREP done for this. Ray is going to try to scrape some of the loose dirt off the top earlier Sat morning. It was VERY dry slick last weekend when we were out there.
If you are NOT a Jeeps member you will need to sign a release and pay the $10 guest fee.
You will need to call from the gate and someone will come to let you in.
Tammy 207-1919 Tom 204-5995
(both 3 one 6 area code)
Any questions beforehand you are welcome to call Tammy or Tom.

Thanks to all who helped arrange and prep the track for Saturday's open practice. Very much appreciated.

No problem Pat. Hope you are healing up okay from the "brotherly love" I heard about on the track. Ray Hoch did an awesome job getting us a smooth surface to practice on. We were there til almost 5:00. Did you know you can run a PW out of gas if you ride it long enough??? The track was disced (sp???) Sunday and mother nature provided some much needed moisture Sunday night & Monday.
Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

My brother (Mike "Hot Sauce" Hamilton), Michael Toon and I thought the track on Saturday was great. Very smooth.
As for my brother intentionally wrecking me while I was going at least 125 mph, what goes around comes around.
My orthopedic surgeons have cleared me to race this weekend.
My lawyers are drafting the personal injury lawsuit (horrible pain and suffering) to serve on my brother Friday at 81. ;D
