Hey K.K.
Thats a pretty sweet ride. I made a lot of laps on that old scooter in 2007.Sure miss those days with Bob.Some of the best times of my life in 06 & 07 riding his bikes.
You going to ride it in Daytona?If so, good luck to ya. Should have plenty of horsepower.

you do know that the frame number on that machine is stamped from the staracer factory 1 .. bbb said it was the very first staracer frame made for a yamaha TT. #10xng from TPR (bristol, ok) sez he is not so sure and my job
is to find out. #10xng mentioned a frame they (kennedy and ?) fabbed up and took to sturgis. layed it down and wadded it (the first TT frame) up. and it was back to the dwg board.
sooooo actually that would make this frame number 2. ..who cares? .me.
Mclendon said that was the best handling machine he had rode indoors.

I will not be riding that baby in daytona, as i... am committed. to building up the twins scene man. vintage pro tWin . don't ya know. just something about going to the starting line and revvin motors with the likes of a lindfors7x or #21babcock n their XR750's. you know what ima talkin bout. jody hell and his 750yamaha. mr henry from texas and his T140 (stock) yea right. or the viper, jeff79, #66noel out of kansas city, #24 from colorada, that fast guy and his 8 valve TRI. (complete w/ tuner) those fast mo fo's outta iowa n their twins... ima gonna go out to florida and line up against "fast frank hard man" and #17covert w/ his BSA.. and you know what jantz#49...
ima winner!!

Dang! I dunno on the bikes... Jethro used to ride a Rotax... even made the podium on it at Daytona a couple years ago, but I see a radiator on ol' 69 in the pic.

Ok: KK. Lets get a couple of things straight first. First off 3-B doesn't stand for Big Bore Bike, but close. How about Big Bore Bob since I get my pistons from Catapilar. Next I would like to thank Scott Raine and Mark Jantz because they were a ball to be with and some very very good riders. Guys I couldn't of been prouder of you both. Second. This is not the bike you guys rode, this is the one I rode that has a few more ponies than its sister. Oh and by the way its sister is once again for sale. Don't know what Chris is gonna ask for it but if your interested give ma a shout. The one for sale puts out a mere 50 hp to the rear wheel and it has just been freshened up. Third. This frame is marked # 1 because it was the first to be built when Roger started up again in the 90's. But being the first Staracer for a 500 yamaha that happened back in the mid 70's and like Johnny said it's probably gone. Fourth. King Kirk race the Staracer??? King Kirk told me last year he has never rode it yet, brings in all these hot shoes. You aint scarred are ya??? The twin to this one woyld make some heads turn again KK. Think about it.
