Bad news, Bad News!!! The 6/28 race at Jeeps has been cancelled. The conditions at the track are way too muddy. Plus with more rain on the way conditions will only get worse and leave no hope to dry things out.

We'll have to set up something different for next time..... You see, we left before these posts were made. Drove 300 miles, beautiful weather all the way, to find the Jeeps grounds empty at 4:45. Can we set up a calling list or something? I spent $200 on gas and almost the entire day driving for nothing. I'm not bitching at you guys, I'm offering to help make this not happen again. I'll do the calling if I have to. The decision to cancel races would have to happen earlier though. Think about it... Let me know what I can do. Thanks... Josh Trail 29g

I rode with Josh, I was super excited, my very first time I would get to race.. (yes, I did cry on the way home.. If I may suggest, you could have alot of cell numbers programmed in a phone, and mass text message if a race is a go or not.. Again not getting down on anyone, just trying to help prevent this from happening to anyone else.. I am glad there are people still keeping this racing together and not just pulling out..

Dang Josh, I thought about you guys and tried to call when I saw the cancellation. All I had was your shop # and only got a recording... email me your cell# and I can give you guys a holler if this ever happens again. I don't have to leave until a couple hours after you guys.

We'll be alright. Just put up another win for mother nature.... She's been handin' out whoopins all spring, I guess it was my turn.TJ was going to ride the "silver bullet". There's always next time.
Kyle, I even brought some stuff for you. Now you can cuss the weather even more.... Hope to see you in Topeka this week. I'm wondering if I have enough brownie points to go to a race while the family is at a family function..... My brownie points savings account is not looking too good these days. I may have to extend my line of credit and hope to come into a windfall of points sometime soon........

You should have stopped by on the way through... I only live a couple miles off Hwy 75. All week I planned on racing Saturday, so I just moped around for the afternoon and tinkered on the 360 motor. Oh well... At least we have the GNC races this friday to look forward to! Let me know when you are flying in and I'll hook you up with some loaner wheels... 4 instead of 2.
