TJ, That is not the way to think! Look in the mirror and say out loud, "I will be smart, safe, and fast!" Repeat many times. You can do it! #20m

You'll be fine TJ... Once you get on the line all those jitters go away. I just hope I can keep up with you on that thumper!
Fired up my new motor for the first time last night... so far so good! Just a little warm up to start the break-in is all. Still need to change fork oil, swap rear tire, etc... Stuff I should have done in December.
Reminds me of a bumper sticker once saw... "I've not even begun to procrastinate!"

Kyle#44x HA, thats nothing, I still have to put the front wheel on my crf100, fit both wheels to my xl350, fit the rear brake to the new wheel, find a 520 front sprocket and chain. I think those are a 530 stock and the sprockets for my wheel are 520. ARGHH, then I have Guards ALL WEEK this week, so I am really going to be pressed for getting it done. Worst case it runs all stock. OH WAIT! Josh made my turn signals and brake light disapear, now you cant tell when I am turning left OR riding the brake.. It will be agood time anyways see you all there. ;D

I DID, however, leave his passenger pegs on. I plan to sell rides to offset our cost of racing. The insurance company is supposed to get back to me on that one. Just think, $20 per ride on the rookie's bike. An upclose and personal view of flat track racing.
Sometimes the ideas just flow right out.....
Lucky for you guys

Saturday: Sign in 4:00 Practice: 6:00 Race: 7:30 Sunday Sign in 10:30 Practice 12:30 Race 1:30 Ok got the times now all I have to do is figure out where and how to get there, and if there is somewhere nearby to spend the night. Don't think I care to do the tent this year or at least not for this race. Anyone know if you can change and become someone else (the nickname) on here? I'm not going to be a ghost anymore. I'll bring some money for y'all (sign in fees, now don't get too excited) and find a class to ride in.... is there a parade class? lol @ me Hey how did I get a -1 karma

TJ, the XL250 and the the 78-82 XR250 and 500s are 520 countersprockets with the same spline. RK-M chain is about $25 and holds up good for me. Sprocket Spescialties provides a nice C-clip with their Csprockets. Space the 520 Csprocket in to the motor so chain will stay aligned. Sounds like you got a "long way to go and a short time to get there", Pat Orman.
