We have scheduled a "prepped track" practice day for Saturday, March 28th from 2-5 at Jeeps Motorcycle Club. This will be a great chance for you to get some seat time in before our first races of the season there on 4/25 and 4/26!!!
But wait, there's more!
Prior to the practice session, we will be holding a "Learn to Flat Track" school/clinic from 11-2. This is primarily aimed at adults and kids who are new (or fairly new) to flat track.
COST School: $15 (includes practice session from 2-5) Practice session: $10 (Jeeps members), $15 for non-members
Marine World is also holding a Polaris Demo Day at Jeeps that day so be sure to come early and take it all in!
Any questions, just give me a shout!
~Tam

This sounds great! I will try to make the practice day. A flat track clinic for "beginners" is a wonderful idea. Who is going to be instructing? Is it somebody who has attended Danny Walker's American Supercamp? They have many exercises to build basic skills such as trail braking, throttle control, body position, and line selection. It is not just riding around in circles. Thanks for all you are doing to help grow and maintain interest in the sport. Brigitta 320m

We are pulling in some of the talent from within our series as well as a possible "guest" instructor. A name that would be well known. More info if/when things are determined for sure.
Hey Brigitta, are you a MXer now? When did you become 320m??

I'm up for it! I hope to have my main bike up and running by then, but if not I'll have a backup to ride. I could probably use the school too... Great idea! Kyle#44x

That might be the day that we are re-assembling the bike, if not then I'll be there. At least I can check out the class, walk the track and maybe drag my left foot some.

I was just giving you a hard time. I spent 7 hours at the MX Sunday promoting our school/practice day and races, so I've seen a lot of 3 digit number plates lately! I also got offered 2 different rides if I want to try the womens class at the next MX! LOL

I'll be there. Hey Tammy, don't forget my shorts! Guess this means I'll have to stop wearing them around the house. See you next Saturday.

Tammy and Crew, We are really greatful for the practice day that you all have setup at Jeeps. However we will not be able to attend. Chance qualified for the State Wrestling tournament next weekend. In addition you will be missing another racer, little stud, Kolton Misener ;D has also qualified for the State Meet. Everybody have fun and ride safe. Mike

And here I thought little *stud* Kolton was adorable on a bike. I can't even begin to imagine watching his wrestle! Good luck to both of the boys at State next weekend!
